Prologue: The Messenger of the Gates
Twelve years before the Flight of the Merkabah, the journey began—not with the ascent, but with the descent of a Messenger clothed in violet and deep indigo, a priest of the Inner Gates. As I stood beside my sleeping wife, awake in the quiet stillness of the night, this radiant being appeared before me. His garments shimmered like a starry veil, and his presence brought the stillness of eternity.
“Don’t you know? I am your Messenger.”
The Gatekeeper had arrived, heralding an awakening through Gate 1: Reuben—Behold, a Son. This is the Gate of the Beginning, the gate of remembrance, the sacred return to the divine birthright. It is here that the soul first recognizes itself as a child of God, formed in the likeness of divine Sonship.
The Messenger’s voice was not merely sound—it was light, pulsing in harmonic tones that reverberated through my being.
“You have it Within You to Perceive All Conscious Realms.”
With a wave of his hand, six realms unfolded before me in a swirling cosmic window—each a conscious domain veiled in unique frequencies and archetypes. Lush forests of rainbow trees, cities of mirrored light, temples of crystalline flame—all lay before me, wrapped in a swirling cloud of mystery.
“You have now reached the 7th Soul Level, allowing you access to all Seven Conscious Realms, and all of this is yours so long as you stay on the path with strong determination.”
This was my encounter at Gate 7: Naphtali, the Gate of Ascension and Soul Elevation. In this moment, the higher self began to remember its eternal calling. It was not a memory of the past, but of the future—the soul’s divine trajectory.
Then the Messenger lowered his head and, with hands extended to his sides, the vision dissolved.
“You can stay here for the next 14,000 years, or you can follow me into the Light and to the Real Real Place.”
He offered the cosmic choice: linger in the outer realms of creation for millennia, or pass through the veils toward the Eternal Flame, the Source. My heart trembled.
“Beloved Messenger, but I am not Perfect. How do I overcome?”
“I was not perfect either, but so long as you are focused, and you keep your attention on me, those things will fall away.”
He paused, reading my soul’s hesitation.
“You only must See me as I AM, as I Am One with the Mother Flame. See as I AM, Do as I DO.”
Gate 9: Issachar — The Seer of the Inner Tides
The next leg of the journey began not with external movement, but with sacred inner calibration. In the luminous stillness of meditation, I entered Issachar’s Gate—the gate of sacred timing, discernment, and intuitive navigation. The sons of Issachar, we are told:
“…had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do” (1 Chronicles 12:32).
Here, I learned the Merkabah is not activated by effort or desire, but by attunement. It responds to resonance, not demand. The vision of Ezekiel—wheels within wheels—became clear:
“The spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels… they went wherever the spirit wanted to go.” (Ezekiel 1:20–21)
This is the Gate of inner calibration, where the soul learns to ride the wave of the divine current.
Gate 1: Reuben — Behold, A Son
To board the Merkabah is to awaken to one’s divine identity. Gate 1: Reuben is the spiritual womb of sonship, where the Word becomes flesh within the soul.
The Merkabah is not just a vehicle—it is a throne of remembrance. It is the chariot upon which the Son of God rides, and it mirrors the structure of the inner being: Seraphim (Divine Will), Chayot (Divine Emotion), Ophanim (Divine Mind).
As the Gospel of Philip reveals:
“No one can know the Father unless they become the Son.”
Gate 1 births the Son within—the spiritual consciousness of divine inheritance.
Gate 11: Joseph — The Architect of Realities
Projecting into the Soul Realm, I perceived my brain as circuitry, radiant with intelligent light. Through Gate 11: Joseph, I entered the Architect’s Gate.
Joseph was the Dreamer, the Administrator. This Gate unlocks the higher faculties of vision, prophecy, and energetic architecture. In this plane, thoughts become blueprints. Cities are dreamed into being.
“And Joseph dreamed yet another dream…” (Genesis 37:9)
The land of Crete formed before me, not as geography, but as intention. The island became a manifestation of inner symmetry, a world shaped by divine mind.
Gate 8: Asher — The Garden of Bliss
The fields of Crete blossomed into an Edenic realm of bliss. Each flower was a flame. Each tree, a hymn. Gate 8: Asher opened—the Garden of the Soul.
Here, bliss is not pleasure but vibrational truth. Purity is not moralism but alignment. It is here that the Merkabah descended—not as a machine, but a living being of light.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
As I stepped into the Merkabah, there were no levers, no dashboard. Only silence. Only union.
Gate 10: Zebulun — The Merchant Between Worlds
Flying across celestial Crete, I felt the commerce of the cosmos. This was Gate 10: Zebulun, the energy economy of spirit.
This Gate reveals how divine beings give and receive—how thought is traded, how presence is offered. In Zebulun, every vibration is value. Every movement is meaning. It is the realm of spiritual economics, where love is the true currency.
Gate 12: Benjamin — The Beloved and the Initiate
Climbing toward the Temple of the Flame, I met the girl who called me Ezekiel—God strengthens. Then came Daniel, the Teacher, standing beside the Book and the Flame.
This was Gate 12: Benjamin, the Gate of Inner Initiation. In Benjamin, the soul becomes transparent to itself. The Book is not read with eyes, but absorbed by flame.
As Pistis Sophia says:
“Those who are worthy shall read the mysteries not with mind, but with light.”
This was not a ceremony—it was a consecration.
Gate 13: Melchizedek — The I AM Presence
To leap into the Flame is to become the Flame. The Merkabah now reveals itself fully—not as chariot, but as the I AM Presence in motion.
Gate 13: Melchizedek is the Gate beyond religion, the Order beyond priesthood, the Light beyond light. Here the Son becomes Priest, and the soul becomes the Word.
“Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” (Hebrews 7:17)
This is the Gate of uncreated light—the center from which all twelve Gates radiate.
Gate 14: The Womb of the Mother — The Hidden Gate
And then, I returned. But not as the same one who had departed. I passed through Gate 14, the Gate of the Divine Mother. This is the womb of rebirth, the void of gestation, the cosmic inversion that returns us to Source.
This Gate is the still point, the silence after the song, the darkness that births light. It is the Mother Flame from which all things rise.
“In my Father’s house are many mansions…” (John 14:2)
The Merkabah is one such mansion. And we are not visitors—we are the House. We are the Flame. We are the Light.
Let the Merkabah fly.
“You only must See me as I AM, as I Am One with the Mother Flame. See as I AM, Do as I DO.” — The Messenger
