Revelation 11 – The Two Witnesses and the Shining Temple ✧

Revelation Chapter 11 — For Children and the Child Within

Then a special voice gave John something new—
a golden measuring stick.

The voice said:

“Go measure God’s Temple,
and the altar where the prayers rise like smoke.
Measure the people who worship in love…
but leave out the outer court.
That part is still learning.”

John did as he was told.
He saw the inner temple, glowing like crystal,
and the prayers floating like stars.

Then the voice said:

“Two special witnesses are coming.
They will speak for Me.
They will wear the robes of truth,
and their words will shine like lamps in the dark.”

And soon, two holy ones appeared on the earth.
They stood strong,
like two olive trees full of oil,
or two bright candlesticks that never went out.

They shared God’s message with power—
reminding people to return to love,
to take care of the earth,
and to welcome the Light.

For a time, the world didn’t listen.
People ignored them,
and some even tried to silence them.

But the two witnesses stood firm.

Then, for a little while,
a shadow came.
The two messengers were struck down.
It seemed like the Light had lost.

People cheered in confusion,
thinking darkness had won.

But they didn’t know…

God was not done.

After three and a half days,
a miracle happened.

A breath from Heaven entered the two witnesses—
and they stood up!

Everyone watching was filled with awe.
Then a voice from Heaven called out:

“Come up here!”

And just like that,
they rose into the sky,
wrapped in clouds,
carried by angels.

Then the earth trembled.
Mountains shifted.
The air shimmered.
But still, God’s love was shining.

And a voice in Heaven sang out:

“The kingdoms of the world
now belong to the Light!
To the Lamb!
And He shall reign forever and ever!”

John looked up and saw the Temple in Heaven opened wide,
and inside was the Ark of the Covenant
the sign of God’s promise.

Lightning flashed.
Thunder rumbled.
Rain poured like blessing from the sky.

And through it all,
a song began to rise…
a song of joy, of return,
of a world beginning to remember who it really is.
