revelation 2 – The Letters to the Seven Stars ✧

Revelation Chapter 2 — For Children and the Child Within

After John saw the shining one and the golden lampstands,
he heard a voice say:
“Now, write seven letters… one for each star, one for each lamp.”

Each letter was a message from the Light
to seven special cities full of people walking the path—
some strong, some tired, some brave, some lost.

And the Light had something to say to each of them.

✦ The First Letter: To the City of Love’s First Flame

“To the people of Ephesus,” said the Light,
“I see your good works. I see your heart.
But don’t forget your first love—the way your heart felt when it first found Me.”

“Come back to that joy. Let your flame shine bright again.”

✦ The Second Letter: To the City That Stayed Strong

“To the people of Smyrna,” the Light whispered,
“I know you’ve been hurt. I know the world has been unkind.”

“But be brave. Even when it’s hard, I am with you.
And after the storm, a crown of life will be waiting for you.”

✦ The Third Letter: To the City That Needed Truth

“To Pergamum,” the Light spoke firmly,
“You live in a place with many tricky voices.
Some lead toward light… but some lead away.”

“Hold onto My name. Let your sword be truth, and you’ll shine through the shadows.”

✦ The Fourth Letter: To the City That Forgot to Look Up

“To Thyatira,” said the Light,
“You love well… but some of you are listening to voices that dim your light.”

“Keep your eyes on Me. My Morning Star will rise in your heart.”

Each letter was like a song—
a song of reminder, a song of hope, a song of becoming.

The Light wasn’t angry.
He was calling each heart home.

And John, with gentle hands,
wrote down every word,
so every soul—child or grown-up—could one day hear:

“If you have ears to hear, then listen—
The Spirit is always speaking inside you.”
