Revelation 6 – The Lamb Opens the Scroll ✧

Revelation Chapter 6 — For Children and the Child Within

John watched as the little Lamb, glowing with quiet power,
took the great scroll in His hoof.

The scroll was tied with seven special seals
each one like a lock holding part of Heaven’s story.

The Lamb opened the first seal

And suddenly, John saw a white horse!
Riding it was a shining figure with a bow and a crown.
He galloped forth to bring victory and truth,
riding like a messenger of light across the world.

Then the Lamb opened the second seal

This time, a red horse charged out.
The rider held a sword and looked serious.
He reminded people how dangerous anger can be
and how precious it is to keep peace in our hearts.

The third seal opened…
and a black horse stepped forward.
Its rider held a scale, like those used to measure food.
This horse showed how hard life can be
when there’s not enough kindness, sharing, or fairness.
But he reminded everyone:
“Be gentle with the earth. Be fair with one another.”

Then the Lamb opened the fourth seal
and a pale horse appeared, looking tired and cold.
Its rider reminded John that all things in the world
have a time to live and a time to pass away.
But even in sadness, the Light never leaves.

When the fifth seal opened,
John saw something precious:
underneath the altar in Heaven were the souls
of people who had been brave and true,
even when the world didn’t understand them.

They were given white robes and told gently:
“Rest a little longer…
More light-bearers are still on their way.”

Then the Lamb opened the sixth seal

And the sky shook.
The sun turned dark. The moon turned red.
Stars danced and fell like glowing petals from Heaven.
The earth wobbled, and the mountains moved.

But this was not to frighten John.
It was to wake the world up
to remind every heart that there is a greater truth beyond what we see.

And in that moment, the people cried out:
“Who can stand before such a great Light?”

And the answer, whispered on the wind, was this:

“Those who open their hearts…
Those who wear the robe of love…
They shall stand, and not be afraid.”

This was the beginning of the scroll’s opening,
but the story was far from over.
The Lamb still had one more seal to open…
