(Gate 2 — Simeon: Hearing is the Path to Knowing)
Eliah walked gently on the path of starlight.
With each step, the world around him became more alive.
The trees shimmered like they were humming,
and the wind whispered secrets only hearts could understand.
But Eliah didn’t know how to listen—not yet.
His ears heard sounds,
but his soul hadn’t learned to receive.
He came to a quiet forest where the light was soft.
There, sitting under a glowing tree, was an old man with silver eyes.
He smiled like he knew Eliah’s name before it was spoken.
“Welcome, traveler,” said the man.
“You’ve crossed the First Gate. But to walk further, you must learn the sacred art of Listening.”
Eliah tilted his head. “I do listen,” he said.
But the old man only smiled again.
Then he pointed to a pool of still water.
“Speak into it,” he said.
Eliah knelt and whispered,
“I am Eliah. I want to remember.”
The water rippled, but gave no answer.
“Now,” the man said gently,
“Close your eyes. Be still. Breathe.
Don’t listen with your ears. Listen with your soul.”
Eliah closed his eyes.
He felt the breeze move across his face like a song.
He heard the trees—not with his ears, but inside his chest.
He felt a gentle word rise inside him like dawn:
“You are being guided. Always.”
Tears filled his eyes—not of sadness,
but of something true being remembered.
The man stood, and in his hand was a staff shaped like an ear and a flame.
“You have heard the Silent Voice,” he said.
“This is the Gate of Simeon. The Gate of Listening.
Here, we learn to hear what the world hides in noise.”
The gate shimmered beside the tree, tall and golden like a harp strung with light.
Above it were the words:
“Gate 2 — Simeon: Hear, and You Will Know.”
Eliah stepped through the arch,
and as he did, he felt something awaken in his chest.
Not just ears.
Not just thoughts.
But a knowing born from stillness.
Now he could hear the deeper sounds.
The cries of the earth.
The joy of the stars.
The whisper of God that never stopped speaking.
And onward he walked,
his steps lighter,
his spirit listening.
To be continued…
