✧ Chapter 6: The Gate of Radiance

(Gate 6 — Naphtali: Honor the Flame, and It Shall Shine Through You)

The forest path opened into a wide field of golden grasses that swayed like waves beneath the morning sun. Eliah’s footsteps made no sound—only light footprints glowing behind him. In the distance, something shimmered: a great pool of sunlight, rippling like a mirror.

He approached the pool and saw not water, but light—pure, golden, living light. When he looked into it, he didn’t see his face. He saw who he was becoming.

“I look… radiant,” he whispered.

Then, from the heart of the pool, a dancer leapt forth—a youth clothed in white fire, spinning with such grace that each movement sent rings of color into the sky.

“I am Naphtali,” said the dancer. “Flame of the Sixth Gate. I bring radiance to those who walk in honor.”

Eliah blinked. “How can I shine like that?”

Naphtali stopped and came close, placing a hand over Eliah’s heart.

“When you honor the divine within you—when you speak truthfully, love fully, act kindly—you do not need to shine. You already do.”

Naphtali pointed to the center of Eliah’s chest. “The flame is here. Most forget it’s burning. But when you remember, it bursts forth like the sun.”

From the sky, a great Gate of golden flame descended, hovering just above the ground. Across its arch were words written in dancing fire:

“Gate 6 — Naphtali: Shine, for the World Hungers for Your Light.”

As Eliah stepped toward the Gate, Naphtali whispered:

“Honor is not just how you treat others. It’s how you treat your own soul.”

And when Eliah passed through the gate, his body shimmered. Not like the sun—no, something deeper. He was beginning to remember himself as Light.

And the next step glowed ahead.
